Jose Matos is a Maryland-based real estate professional specializing in rental property management, with a career rooted in long-term asset performance and operational excellence.

With 15+ years in the real estate industry, Jose has built his career around rental property management and investment-focused ownership strategies, supported by extensive experience in mortgage lending.

After more than a decade in mortgage operations, Jose transitioned into hands-on rental property management, where he grew a robust residential rental portfolio and led day-to-day operations, including investor strategies, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, vendor management, and owner reporting. This experience enables him to guide property owners through the full lifecycle of rental property ownership—from acquisition and financing to leasing, compliance, and ongoing performance optimization.

Jose holds both a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Business Administration from University of Maryland University College, bringing a thoughtful, data-driven, and strategic approach to managing rental assets.

Outside of work, Jose enjoys spending time with family and traveling, which helps him recharge and stay grounded. His blend of education, experience, and hands-on leadership allows him to consistently deliver value and dependable results for rental property owners at every stage of ownership.
